Trump Erupts Following Shocking Admission About Kash Patel Being a “Snitch” — Rachel Maddow

Former FBI Acting Director Brian Driscoll and two other agents have filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the DOJ and the White House. The lawsuit claims they were fired as part of a politically driven purge targeting officials involved in investigations of Donald Trump.
According to the filing, FBI Director Kash Patel allegedly admitted three critical things before firing them:
First, that the firings were “likely illegal.”
Second, that the orders came directly from the White House.

And third, that he carried them out because he would’ve been fired if he refused.
Legally, this is significant because it suggests knowing execution of potentially unlawful retaliation, which strengthens the plaintiffs’ case. The lawsuit argues the FBI’s independence was compromised, turning it into a politically influenced institution.
Even more striking is the reaction from Trump allies, who called Patel a “snitch”—a term that, by implication, suggests the claims may be true rather than fabricated.
With Patel already on record in other legal proceedings, any inconsistencies could expose him to perjury risk. This case could have major consequences for accountability at the highest levels of government.
